Zeta Analytical is expanding, and we're seeking a proactive, motivated QC Team Leader to oversee a team of talented analysts in our GMP-compliant pharmaceutical testing laboratory. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced analytical chemist who enjoys leading people, driving quality, and delivering outstanding service to clients in a regulated environment.
What You'll Do
As QC Team Leader, you'll play a key role in ensuring high-quality analytical output and smooth day-to-day lab operations. You will:
- Lead, support, and develop a team of QC Analysts, ensuring workloads are prioritised and delivered on time.
- Oversee daily lab activities, maintaining high standards of compliance, data integrity, and GMP practice.
- Provide technical oversight, troubleshooting support, and guidance on analytical techniques, including HPLC, GC, Dissolution, and Karl Fischer.
- Review and approve analytical results, ensuring they meet internal standards and client expectations.
- Contribute to method development, audit readiness, OOS/OOT investigations, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and quality-focused team culture.
What You'll Bring
We're looking for someone who has:
- A degree in Chemistry or a related discipline.
• Strong experience working in a GMP pharmaceutical testing environment. - Hands-on experience with key analytical techniques (HPLC, GC, Dissolution, UV); knowledge of mass spectrometry is a bonus.
- Excellent organisational and people management skills.
- The ability to work flexibly, communicate clearly, and manage multiple priorities.
- A passion for developing others and maintaining the highest standards of quality and safety.
